Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on bonadomus.com, what each one does, and how you control them. It is part of our Privacy Policy and uses the same terms. Where the two overlap, the Privacy Policy gives the full detail and this policy points to it.
Contents
1. Who We Are
Bonadomus operates this website and decides which cookies and similar technologies run on it. In this policy, “we,” “us” and “our” mean Bonadomus. Our full details are in Section 12 and in Section 1 of our Privacy Policy.
WEBDELO LLC builds and maintains this website and manages our tag management, analytics and advertising accounts on our instructions, as described in Section 8.2 of our Privacy Policy.
2. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. It lets the site recognize your browser on a later page or a later visit.
We also use similar technologies: browser local storage, which holds small pieces of information in your browser in the same way, and tags and pixels, which are short pieces of code that send information to a provider when a page loads. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them unless we say otherwise.
First-party cookies are set by bonadomus.com itself. Third-party cookies are set by another company’s domain, in our case Google’s. Google also sets some first-party cookies through its tags on our site. Section 5 shows which is which.
3. The Three Categories We Use
Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work, to remember your language and currency selection, and to remember your cookie choices. These run without consent, because the site cannot function or respect your choices without them. They are not used for analytics or advertising.
Analytics. Tell us which pages people visit, how they arrive, and how they move through the site, so we can see what works and improve it.
Advertising. Let us measure which advertisements produce inquiries, and show advertisements to people who have already visited the site.
Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you accept them in our consent banner. You accept or reject each category separately. If you reject a category or close the banner without choosing, those cookies are not set.
4. The Technologies on This Site
4.1 Google Tag Manager
Container GTM-TK4Z8VMX, provided by Google. Tag Manager loads the analytics and advertising tags below and applies your consent choices to them. It does not set cookies of its own.
4.2 Google Analytics 4
Property G-9L33HC3VPT, provided by Google. Analytics category. Measures how the site is used.
4.3 Google Ads
Account AW-16494254243, provided by Google. Advertising category. Measures which advertisements lead to inquiries, and shows advertisements to previous visitors across Google services and partner sites.
4.4 What we do not use
We do not record your session. Nothing on this site replays your mouse movement, your scrolling or your keystrokes.
We do not use Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any other social media advertising tracker on this site, and we do not use heatmap tools.
If we add a technology, we list it here and in Section 5 before it goes live, and it runs only under the category and consent rules in Section 3.
5. Cookie List
Durations are the standard lifetimes set by each cookie. Your browser can shorten them, and some browsers do so automatically.
Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
| Consent record | Bonadomus (first party) | Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie choices and applies them on every page | Until you change your choice or clear your browser storage |
| Language setting | Bonadomus (first party) | Strictly necessary | Remembers the language you selected | Until you change it or clear your browser storage |
| Currency setting | Bonadomus (first party) | Strictly necessary | Remembers the currency you selected | Until you change it or clear your browser storage |
| _ga | Google Analytics (first party) | Analytics | Distinguishes one browser from another for analytics measurement | 2 years |
| _ga_9L33HC3VPT | Google Analytics (first party) | Analytics | Keeps track of your session for analytics measurement | 2 years |
| _gcl_au | Google Ads (first party) | Advertising | Links site visits and inquiries to advertising for conversion measurement | 90 days |
| _gcl_aw | Google Ads (first party) | Advertising | Set only when you arrive by clicking a Google advertisement. Records that click so a later inquiry can be linked to it | 90 days |
| Google advertising cookies | Google (third party) | Advertising | Set on Google’s own domains to show our advertisements to previous visitors and measure them | Set by Google. See Section 10 |
The three Bonadomus entries are stored in your browser and are not sent to Google or any other provider.
6. Your Choices
6.1 Consent banner and cookie settings
On your first visit, the consent banner asks you to accept or reject analytics and advertising cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Withdrawing consent stops future collection. It does not undo what was collected before. Analytics and advertising cookies already in your browser stop being used, and you can delete them through your browser settings.
6.2 Your Privacy Choices
Our use of advertising cookies counts as “sharing” and “targeted advertising” under several US state privacy laws, as explained in Section 9 of our Privacy Policy. You can opt out through the Your Privacy Choices link in our footer. Opting out there turns off advertising cookies in the same way as rejecting them in the cookie settings.
6.3 Your choices apply to one browser
Your choices are stored in the browser you made them in. If you use another browser or device, use private browsing, or clear your browser storage, we cannot see your earlier choice and the banner asks you again.
6.4 Browser controls
Every major browser lets you view, delete and block cookies. These controls work separately from our banner. If you block all cookies, the site cannot remember your language, currency or cookie choices.
6.5 Google’s own tools
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can control personalized advertising across Google services at myadcenter.google.com.
7. Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or extension sends it, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising, and we do not set advertising cookies in that browser. You do not need to do anything else. Section 14 of our Privacy Policy explains how we apply it to information we already hold.
8. What Cookies Collect
Analytics and advertising cookies, and the tags that read them, collect cookie identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, the referring page, pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, advertising clicks, and approximate location inferred from your IP address.
They do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or the property preferences you give us in a form. Those are never shared for advertising.
Section 13.3 of our Privacy Policy sets out these categories of personal information, where they come from, and who receives them.
9. How Long Cookies and Their Data Last
Two different periods apply, and they are easy to confuse.
Cookie lifetime is how long a cookie stays in your browser. Section 5 lists it for each cookie.
Data retention is how long the information a cookie helped collect is kept in the provider’s systems. For Google Analytics, user-level and event-level data is kept for the period set in our account, which is no longer than 14 months. For Google Ads, advertising identifiers stay in our audience lists for the membership period set in our account, which is no longer than 540 days. Section 11 of our Privacy Policy lists every retention period.
10. Google’s Policies
Google processes the information collected by its technologies on its own systems, under its own privacy policy, and in some respects for its own purposes. We do not control how it does that. Google explains its practices here:
- Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses cookies: policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
- How Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
11. Changes to This Policy
We update this policy whenever the cookies on the site change. The date at the top always shows the current version.
A change to this policy does not by itself give us your consent to anything. If we add a technology that needs your consent, the banner asks you before that technology runs.
